RADLIVE High Definition (HD) Audio Conferencing System provides conference users with innovative audio presence capabilities for the ultimate audio experience. This unique system combines advanced sound-quality technology with easy-to-use management capabilities. The system is designed for HD VoIP-based communications. In addition, the system maximizes the performance of any 3’rd party phone connected to it.

RADLIVE HD Audio Conferencing System includes:

• Base Unit
  The Base Unit handles all communications and signal processing, including communications with the Audio Units, the Remote Control Unit, PBX and additional VoIP devices. Additional functionality supported includes audio coding, decoding and processing.
• Audio Units
  An audio unit incorporates 4 microphones and 1 loudspeaker. The conferencing system is comprised of between 2 and 4 units. Each Audio Unit provides optimal reception for all conference participants combined with high quality sound reproduction via a two way loudspeaker. The unique acoustic design reduces in room noise and enhances audio quality.
• Remote Control Unit (RCU)
  The wireless portable Remote Control Unit offers an intuitive, touch screen user interface that enables easy control and navigation for: placing and answering calls, defining phone settings, maintaining contact lists and conference management. The RCU is charged by using a “charging cable” connected to any available Audio Unit on the conference table.

Audio Presence is a unique RADLIVE feature. It creates an experience of spatial presence for conference participants by exploiting multiple loudspeakers to create a virtual positioning of remote locations (patent pending).

Robust IP Coding is a RADLIVE proprietary technology, presenting a wideband CODEC that provides superior performance for all network conditions. The CODEC delivers loss and late packet recovery in the compressed domain for optimal performance in all network conditions (patent pending).

Multi-Channel Acoustic Echo Canceling (AEC) has been uniquely devised to provide acoustic echo cancelation for each combination of microphone and speaker. Multi channel AEC cancels the echo from each one of the RADLIVE Audio Units.

Wideband Embedded Bridge enables connectivity of up to 8 locations with on screen conference controls for true ease-of-use. Utilizing innovative transcoding technology the bridge will communicate with each location using the best supported audio CODEC for each site.

External Node Enhancements provide a comprehensive set of algorithms to enhance the audio from any type of phone connected to RADLIVE, by extending bandwidth and reducing interference including sophisticated Noise Reduction, Leveling and Bandwidth Extension.

Noise reduction dynamically reduces background and in room noises, such as noises arising from turning pages, typing on a laptop keyboard or knocking on the table etc.

SIP Interoperability assures seamless operation with all leading SIP based VoIP equipment.
